Happy Monday, guys.
Hope the weekend was good. Playoffs are rolling (NBA + NHL), and that RBC Heritage finish was wild. Good time of year.
Have yourself a week. Let’s get into it.
And if you’re new here, welcome aboard. Glad you found us.

📕 DAD WISDOM
Their Entire World
I was the mystery reader in my 4-year-old’s pre-K class last week.
He had no idea I was coming. When I walked in, his eyes lit up. Big smile. Ran over and hugged me like I had just shown up to the Super Bowl.
It was a cool moment. But it also hit me in a different way. Right now, we’re their whole world.
Not in a permanent way. Not in a “this lasts forever” way. But in this window, this season, we’re it.
The person they’re most excited to see. The one they look for in a room. The one they want to tell everything to.
It doesn’t feel big when you’re in it every day. But moments like that remind you. This role is pretty special. And it doesn’t stay this way forever. Soak it in, gents!

RAD DAD
Tony Kamel
Tony Kamel writes and performs songs for a living. Some people even listen (his words, not ours). At home, though, he’s a dad to a four-year-old, with another arriving this February.
He says the hardest part of parenting is accepting that everything is hard. Once you stop fighting that, it weirdly gets easier. Sleep deprivation, however, remains a real personality test.
The best part right now? The small stuff.
Fatherhood also changed how he approaches touring. Not because he can’t do it, but because he doesn’t love it the same way anymore. A total blessing.
His one non-negotiable: if his daughter wants a song repeated, he repeats it. Because that kind of joy matters.

DAD GEAR
Small-Batch Roast
We drink a lot of coffee over here. Probably too much. So we teamed up with a trusted roaster and made our own.
Small-batch, whole bean. Dark roast. Just off the fire. Our office smells like a dream right now. We didn’t make much. When it’s gone, it’s gone.

DAD BOD
The Optimistic Mindset

Giphy
Optimism isn’t something you’re born with. It’s something you train.
Studies show that spending just 5 minutes a day picturing your “best possible self” can boost optimism in as little as two weeks. Not just a mood bump. It actually shifts how you see your future.
It works because your brain starts updating what feels possible.
Five minutes. Write it out or visualize. Picture yourself a few years from now with your health dialed, your relationships strong, and work that actually feels meaningful. Get specific. Same time tomorrow.
This isn’t wishful thinking. It’s reps.

WHAT WE DROVE
We just dropped Episode 2 of What We Drove.
Last time: minivan life. This time…we went full send.
We teamed up with INEOS and yeah, this thing is an absolute off-road beast. Built like a tank, drives like it means it.
