THE DIGEST
Wisdom of the Week: Right now, we’re their whole world. Not in a permanent way. Not in a “this lasts forever” way. But in this window, this season, we’re it. It doesn’t feel big when you’re in it every day. But moments like that remind you. This role is pretty special. And it doesn’t stay this way forever.

IN THE TRENCHES
Topic: Where Dads Are At With Their Health
We asked where you’re at with your health right now this week. Most honest answer on the board…trying to get back on track took the top spot.
A few notes from the field:
A lot of dads are in that “almost there” zone. Close… but not quite consistent yet.
One guy said tomorrow is always the day…just trying to make it today.
Even the guys in a decent spot said it’s fragile. Busy seasons, sick kids, life… the routine is the first thing to go.
Some are rebuilding. Injuries, setbacks, or just time off. Less about pushing harder, more about getting back to baseline.
There are wins, too. One dad shared he’s down 40 pounds and feeling better than he has in years. More energy, better across the board.
And a common theme…progress isn’t linear. A lot of guys had momentum, lost it a bit, and are now working their way back.

🧠 Worth Knowing
Studies show kids are more likely to build confidence when they’re allowed to struggle a bit before stepping in. Not every problem needs a quick fix. That pause matters.
👊 Try This
Next time your kid asks for help, wait a beat before jumping in. See if they figure it out on their own.

dad shower thoughts: The same kid who can’t find their shoes can locate a single piece of candy from three rooms away.
