Lead by Example
Here’s a nugget of dad wisdom that hits deep: Your son will follow your example, and your daughter will marry it. No pressure, right? But seriously, the way we carry ourselves sets the stage for how our kids view the world and what they expect from it.
For your son, you're the model of what being a man looks like — how you treat people, how you handle stress, how you show up each day. And for your daughter, you’re setting the standard for how she should be treated and what a healthy relationship looks like.
So let’s be the kind of men we’d want our kids to either grow up to be or seek out. Show them respect, patience, kindness, and resilience. It's a tall order, but remember, every small action counts. Lead by example, and they’ll follow.

Joe Rogan
He's known for cage fights, comedy, and controversial conversations on his podcast, but Joe Rogan’s toughest role? Being a dad. Rogan, who has two daughters with his wife, Jessica, is a family man at heart. He might seem larger-than-life, but he's all about keeping things grounded for his kids, instilling values, and protecting their innocence.
Rogan has said, “Being a father is the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. There’s no comparison.” And while he’s made a career out of asking tough questions, he’s quick to admit that being a dad has made him reflect on what’s truly important in life. He often shares that being a present father and leading by example are his top priorities—no matter how busy life gets.
With all his intensity, Rogan also believes in giving his kids space to figure things out. "I want them to be curious and ask questions," he says, emphasizing that he’s there to guide but not control. His parenting style? Tough love with a dose of humor and humility—teaching his kids to work hard, stay grounded, and never take themselves too seriously. Follow Joe here.

A 20-Minute Burner
My office happens to be in the garage (not a long commute). Right before diving into the dinner-bath-bedtime circus, I felt the need for a quick pump, so I pulled up a 20-minute upper body burner on YouTube.

How to Choose the Best Steak at the Grocery Store
Picking the right steak can be overwhelming, but here are some quick tips to help you look like a pro in the meat aisle:
Know Your Cuts: Middle cuts like ribeye and T-bone are tender and perfect for grilling, while leaner cuts like skirt steak are great for marinating.
Ask Your Butcher: Don’t be shy—your butcher can recommend the best cuts for your budget and meal plan.
Look for Marbling: Those little streaks of fat throughout the meat add flavor and tenderness. The more marbling, the juicier the steak.
Check the Color: Fresh steaks are cherry red; avoid any with a dull or brownish hue.
Consider Thickness: A thicker steak (1 to 1.5 inches) ensures a juicy interior with that perfect crust on the outside.
