The best time of your life
Plus - wise parenting do's and don'ts
Happy Monday, gents. Hope you had a great weekend. My oldest turns 7 today — wild how fast it goes.
Make it a solid week. And don’t miss today’s Community Notes… we’ve got some powerful stuff on how to set your kids up for long-term financial success.

📕 DAD WISDOM
Decision Making
A friend recently told me, “When your kid leaves for college, you won’t wonder if they remember the rules, you’ll wonder if they know how to make good decisions.”
That line stuck.
Because parenting isn’t just about keeping them safe today. It’s about preparing them for the moments when you’re not there; when they have to think, choose, and live with it.
Start early. Let them make choices. Talk through the why behind decisions. Teach them how to weigh options, take responsibility, and course-correct when needed.
Rules fade. Decision-making sticks.

RAD DAD
Ben Bergeron
Ben Bergeron has coached some of the fittest humans on Earth—literally. As the longtime coach of CrossFit Games champions like Mat Fraser and Katrin Davidsdottir, he’s built a name around discipline, mindset, and leadership.
Behind the scenes, he’s also a dad of four, navigating everything from trampoline time to adult children chasing their own paths.
We asked Ben to share a bit about his experience as a dad.
Here’s what stuck with us:
“They are infants, and kids, not adults—don’t expect them to act the way you want or understand the things you understand.”
On balancing life, work, and parenting:
“With lots of intention, knowing that there is no such thing as perfect. I don’t do any work/phone once I am home during the week, and every weekend is spent fully with the family.”
The biggest thing he’s learned?
“This is the best time of your life. Not the easiest, but the times with the most meaning. Don’t waste them waiting or wanting something else.”
And if you're wondering what his favorite part of fatherhood is:
“The love I get back from them, and seeing them grow into better people than me.”
Solid words from a guy who knows a thing or two about hard work, consistency, and what really matters. Follow Ben here.

DAD TOYS
TheraGun Massager
I’ve been dealing with some foot issues from overtraining lately. I had one of those cheap Amazon massage guns, and yeah, it kinda helped… until I borrowed a buddy’s TheraGun.
Game. Changer.
TheraGun is in a different league. I’m not saying it fixed everything overnight, but it’s earned a permanent spot in my recovery arsenal.
This thing is worth every penny. Your back, calves, and sore arches will thank you.

DAD BOD
If You Only Do One Stretch… Make It This One
They call it the World’s Greatest Stretch for a reason. This one move hits your hips, hamstrings, thoracic spine, and shoulders — basically everything that gets tight from sitting, slouching, or playing pickup with the kids after skipping a warm-up.
Do 5 reps per side before workouts, after long drives, or when you’re pretending to stretch.
👉 Search it up or check this quick demo on YouTube
Your body will thank you.
