The weekend’s here. My 3-year-old decided 5am was a perfectly reasonable wake-up call, so if you catch a typo or a broken link today, just know I was deep in conversation about dinosaurs mid-sentence.
If you’re new here — welcome. Our Friday format is a little different; built to send you into the weekend with some good stuff.
A couple quick things:
Our Slack community is buzzing. From dads talking about working through miscarriages to posting their Strava runs, it’s become a solid group text for dads who get it. Want in? [Sign up here.]
Live in Annapolis, MD? We’re kicking off a Dad Day Run Club meetup this weekend. Huge thanks to Todd for pulling it together. [Details here.]

GARAGE
Send us what you’re working on
Swapping out the DIY build for something a little different today — a rad project from one of our own.
Henry from Raleigh is building an app called Receipts.XYZ — think credit card points, but for working out. You earn points for moving your body: runs, walks, lifts, swims, whatever you’re into. Then you can trade those points for gear and other rewards.
I’ve been testing it out for the last few weeks and it’s legit. Connect your wearable, rack up points, and get rewarded for showing up. It’s free btw.
Use code DADDAY when you sign up here and get some points out of the gate. Nice work, Henry. Keep building.
Working on something? Reply to this email and send it our way. DIY Projects, Green Grass, Businesses, Whatever.

FRIDAY RESET
You can’t redo the week. But you can choose how you show up this weekend.
Set the tone. Start fresh. Be there.
