A minivan we can all get behind

PLUS - smoked wings anyone?

Welcome to the Weekend. A bit shorter today as my 3-year-old has been waking up at 5 am after switching to his ‘big boy’ bed.

“The power of a dad in a child’s life is unmatched.”

THE DIGEST

Last Week’s Poll Results:

What’s Your Post-Kid-Bedtime Vibe?

The results are in—and it’s clear most of us are keeping it cozy:

  • Netflix & chill (literally) — 47.6%

  • Couple of drinks & chill — 14.5%

  • Scroll in silence — 13.3%

  • Straight to bed — 8.4%

  • Other — 7.8%

  • Catch up on work — 4.2%

  • Workout or walk — 4.2%

Safe to say: once the house quiets down, most dads hit cruise control.

WEEKEND BURNER

Juicing Weight Lifter GIF by Jukebox Saints

5 Rounds for Time:

  • 10 Push-ups

  • 15 Air Squats

  • 10 Dumbbell Snatches (5 each arm – use a backpack if you don’t have dumbbells)

  • 10 Burpees

  • 200m Run or 30-Second Sprint in Place

Rest 1 minute between rounds.

You’ll be sweaty, humbled, and glad it’s the weekend.

Optional: Throw your kid on your back for the squats. Bonus bonding, bonus burn.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

We launched the community extension of the newsletter this week. It’s called Built for More — a space to connect with like-minded dads, swap parenting wins (and fails), trade gear recs, tackle weekly challenges, and just have a crew that gets it.

Excited to see where it goes over the next few months. Come be part of it.
